Q: Does the Innkeeper live on property?

Yes, Carol Fall lives on property.

Q: Are there restaurants within walking distance of Fall Farm?

No, however many restaurants are only a 5-10 minutes drive from Fall Farm. You can view our full recommendations to restaurants in the area in our getaway guide.

Q: Are guests able to use the kitchen at Fall Farm?

Fall Farm’s inviting and colorful kitchen is the heart of the house, and guests are welcome to enjoy the snacks and fruit from the kitchen counter and make coffee or hot tea at the coffee bar. A guest refrigerator and ice machine are located in the pantry along with ice buckets and wine glasses.  The microwave is available to reheat food, make popcorn, etc. Use of the kitchen for meal preparation is not allowed. Groups booking the entire inn may arrange for expanded use of the kitchen for an additional fee.

Q: What time is check-in at Fall Farm?

Check-in is at 3 pm.  Early check in may be accommodated with advanced notice.

Q: Can you accommodate later check-ins at Fall Farm?

Yes, late arrivals can be accommodated. The door code and instructions to find your room will be texted or emailed.

Q: Are there refrigerators in all of the Fall Farm units?

A few units in the main house do not have refrigerators, however there is a dedicated “guest fridge” in the main house kitchen pantry.

Q: Do you accommodate breakfast options for gluten-free, dairy free, vegan, etc.?

Yes, with advanced notice. More information on our breakfast can be found here.

Q: I wake up early! Is it possible to have coffee or tea before breakfast?

Absolutely! Each unit is equipped with a Keurig coffee maker.

Q: May I have a breakfast tray brought to the room?

Yes, with advanced notice the night before.

Q: Do guests in the cottage come to the main house for breakfast?

Cottage guests can come to the main house for breakfast or have breakfast brought to the cottage. More than 4 guests will be served breakfast in family-style serving dishes.

Q: Is the pool/spa open to the Red Oak Cottage guests as well?

Yes!

Q: What are the instructions for using the spa?

Please notify the Innkeeper to turn on the spa

Q: What is your policy for accommodating children?

Children age 12 and over are welcome. This is to assure a peaceful and romantic atmosphere for each and every guest at Fall Farm. If booking the entire main house as a group reservation, children younger than 12 can only be accommodated in a downstairs unit. The Red Oak Cottage can accommodate children of any age.

Q: Do you offer accommodations for pets?

Pets cannot be accommodated as many guests have allergies.

Q: Are your guest units individually heated and cooled?

The main house guest units are part of the central heat and air system, and therefore not individually controlled. Also, each unit has ceiling fans and realistic flame heaters. The air is kept on the cooler side, but can be adjusted by contacting the Innkeeper. The comfort of each guest is of the utmost importance! The Red Oak  Cottage has two dedicated HVAC units.

Q: What are the guest parking instructions?

Main house guests park under the 4-space carport. Cottage guests park in front of the cottage.

Q: Where are the closest airports to Fall Farm Country Inn?

Wood County Airport Collins Field (KJDD)
Located 2 miles South of Fall Farm – 10 min.
4000 ft. runway in excellent condition accommodates private planes and corporate jets. Daily hangar space available for overnight visitors. Also a courtesy car is available with advance notice. Rental car service also available.

Tyler Pounds Regional Airport
Located 45 miles South of Fall Farm in Tyler Texas
Easy access terminal with American Eagle passenger service, as well as private aircraft accommodations. Rental car companies and taxi service available.
